I'm a longtime Cub fan. I was a 10 year old during the ill fated 1969 Cubs summer but have loved that team ever since. I have a large amount of memorabilia that pertains to those 1969 Cubs. It includes multiple team signed pieces and single signed baseballs and photos from all the players on the roster that year. One of the more ambitious projects is to obtain a signed copy of every Topps card those players appeared on throughout their careers. I'm down to a few cards left, mostly Banks signed cards and a few other tougher signed cards (Jimmie Hall, Randy Bobb, Hank Aguirre).

I rediscovered card collecting in the late 80's and decided to try to collect a single copy of every Cubs card ever made. Therefore I have Cubs cards back to T205's and T206's. When the mid 90's hit, that project pretty much went out the window (too many many companies, too many cards). I decided to refocus on my love for the history of the game and the teams of my youth. This time my card collecting focus would be on World Series teams. I am collecting Topps cards of the World Series teams from each year back to my birth year (kinda sketchy on those 60's Yankee teams) and still getting Cubs cards from the Topps base set.

I decided to represent the history of baseball by collecting autographs of the games greats. That includes a collection of single signed baseballs of members of the Hall of Fame and signed 3x5's of the HOFers where baseballs are cost prohibitive. I also have an autograph collection of Rookies of the Year through 1980. I also decided to collect autographs of World Series teams from the 60's and 70's after seeing some of Jim Spence's "Year to Remember" pieces. I have signed 3x5's and Perez Steele postcards of many of the World Series teams from those 2 decades along with the 1945 World Series Cubs.

Much of my collection has spent the last 20 years tucked away in bins in my basement. Therefore to "display" my collection I have started working on a website and felt I should share some of my images here.

I'm always interested in items pertaining to the 1969 Cubs and any World Series items to further my collection.
