One essential thing to consider is how much clothing storage space you need at the present time, plus what you might need in the future. This may be especially so with a growing family; for example, teenagers become more fashion conscious and start needing more storage space. Fortunately many of today's bedroom closet systems, so even if you underestimate, or your family's wardrobe grows quicker then expected, then you can usually add things like additional shelves, shoe rack, double hang closet rod or tie rack.
We all have experienced this: how long have we repeatedly told ourselves to organize our own closets but we just can't seem to find out the right time. The truth is, the "right time" is relative to the idea that we haven't yet found the "right closet" to organize our stuff with much enthusiasm. So basically, the answer to your closet organizing blues is a new closet - just chuck out the old one or recycle it for something else.
Another useful thing to do is to sort out what's important and take away those clothes that are better off to be given away to charities and donations. We can be pack rats sometimes, but this attitude will only aggravate a messy closet situation, instead of avoiding it. It is a common sense to do away with those clothes that you don't even wear, even on an ordinary day.
Since there are many different designs of bedroom closet organizer, you have the option of redesigning your entire bedroom closet space just to get the one that you really like. This is only really possible though if you have a considerable budget for remodeling. For many average wage earners, remodeling may not be a very practical project.
