Your own bedroom is the place which you see last when you go to sleep and also is the first place you see when you wake in the morning. These two are the times of the day when you are most eceptive to receive any messages, good or bad. That's why you can make use of this fundamental reality to unconsciously program yourself almost automatically, by taking care of your bedroom. In short you can "design" your bedroom as a self help tool.
It may sound obvious, but one of the easiest ways to update the look of your bedroom is to purchase new linens. New sheets can be found starting as low as $10 a set. If new comforters are too expensive, consider purchasing new comforter covers, or making them yourself out of affordable top sheets. Use your new linens as a way to introduce new patterns and colors into your bedroom, and you'll be amazed at how the room looks instantly refreshed.
